What girl dosnt like a little bling

Hi everyone,

I have another card for you today ( managed to get a few min in the workshop even with the little boy)
This weeks challenge #55 at CAS-ual Fridays is Bling! and lets face it what girl doesn't like a little bling , especially on out papercraft projects.
I went looking for some inspiration for this card and found a link to this blog by Virgina. Wow what inspiration, please pop over and check it out its amazing fun. Its all about colour and rainbows of it!

So with a few min to whip something up this is what I came up with.

You may have already guessed,  I did it with my Tim Holtz markers, so much easier than pulling all the ink pads out LOL.  The stamp is part of a the Birthday greetings set that was released last January.
After stamping all the butterfly's and the sentiment , I ran the card through the Ezy-press and embossed with white dots. After that I burnished over where the butterflies where stamped so that the dots were not so pronounced. And then the bling, Each butterfly was covered with a generous amount of icstickles. Fun and easy! Just the way I like it.
When I have a little more time Iwill probably re do the matting on this as its not quiet right.
Have a good day

Rainbow butterflies

Hi all
Today I have a layout to share , that I have been meaning to do for ages.
I Had a fantastic demo party the other week and had such a fun time playing with my Tim Holtz markers and then letting all my ladies loose to create some fab cards.
Then after the demo a few special gals stayed on to create this layout.
It is one closely adapted from a workshop created by Karen Turner, I just changed the stamps a little and used a new distress markers technique.
Here is the layout

And some details

And this last one is of my absolute fab'est girls ever, look how happy they all look, not to mention
how each of them made there layouts their own! Love these ladies.

If you are wondering I'm in the center...don't mind been center of attention LOL
Have a good day

Flowers and markers a perfect fit!

I am entering this card in the CAS-ual fridays challenge CFC50, flowers and trees.
This Challenge gave me the perfect excuse to run to my new Tim Holtz markers and play.
I used a stamp set 1942LM Flowers uncut, it is one of my favourite sentiments and comes with this fab flower. I the stamp coloured using my markers, misted and stamped. Perfectly easy!
This is a simple, single layer card, but I'm sure that in time I will find some way to layer and add a little more to it.
.

Now I'm off to play some more, be back tomorrow, with the layout I said, I would give you today .
Its a woman's right to change her mind yes!

Opposits attract

Have you missed me? Iv been a little absent this last two weeks, partly because my hubby is on holidays, you would think I would get more done with an extra set of hands ...but it  don't seem to be working that way.

Today's card is well .....a disaster, but having not blogged for so long I am going to post anyway.
The challenge is for CAS-ual fridays Challenge Opposites Attract. The idea was to use to colours from opposite sides of the colour wheel.

Somewhere over the rainbow.

This week my favourite challenge blog CAS-ual Fridays is hosting a challenge to use a song as inspiration for our cards.
Wow, at first glance this is hard , but then after a few thoughts, Somewhere over the rainbow come to mind.
This is my rainbow inspired card.
To make the card I have used Tim Holtz ink and added them using a Aqua brush pen. My rainbow isn't perfect , but I think I like it that way.
The Happy birthday sentiment is fast becoming one of my favourite, I have actually cut the verse in half and often use just the top half or the bottom half. It is from the 4537N Greetings birthday uncut set. Then through the Ezy Press with the polka dot embossing plate and a little bling to finish.
Thanks for looking and I hope that all your dreams come true on this beautiful day!
Best I run I hear the kids crying :) ( I'm sure u know the feeling LOL)
